Marc Hager is an actively performing jazz pianist based in Seattle Washington. A self taught pianist through high school he was accepted into the University of Washington school of music in 1992 where he studied privately with professor Marc Seales, majoring in Jazz Studies. Since then Marc has appeared in a wide variety of jazz, funk, reggae and rock groups performing throughout the greater Seattle area in venues large and small. Some notable local musicians Marc has shared the stage with include Chris Littlefield (Karl Denson, Jumbalaya), Jessica Lurie (Billy Tipton Memorial Sax Quartet, Living Daylights), Dave Carter (SkerikÕs Syncopated Taint Septet), James Whiton (Eric McFadden Trio), Paul Kemmish and others. Marc is currently performing on a regular basis throughout the area.
